Living by the power of faith

living by the power of faithThink back to when you were a child, watching a friend or big brother ride a bicycle. The more fun they had, the more you wanted to join in. Finally, after much nagging, you received your first bicycle.

With the help of your dad, you learned how to ride it. The more you rode, the more you believed you do it, until your belief grew so strong, you knew you could ride the bicycle any time you wanted to. And you did, with little conscious thought.

It applies to anything. Living by the power of faith changes the way you see your abilities. If you believe you can do it, you'll accomplish whatever it is you've set your heart on.

The power of faith exceeds the power of knowledge. Like the mystery of love, you know the power of faith exists. This invisible presence works and guides you with only the extraordinary results proving its existence.

We talk of faith being able to move mountains. And it can. However, its power is relative. It all depends on the strength of your faith.

If you truly believe with every fibre of your being you can do something, your mind will find a way to accomplish it.

Do you remember Terry Fox, the one-legged Canadian hero? In spite of his illness, he ran a marathon a day for weeks in order to raise money for the Cancer Society. Even professional marathon runners can't run a marathon a day. However, the strength of Terry's faith enabled him to run in all kinds of weather, from the east coast of Canada to Thunder Bay, where he finally succumbed to cancer.

Or what about the blind man who climbed Mount Everest.

Or the university student allowed to play the last few minutes of a professional basketball game and scored 27 points.

Living by the power of faith results in miracles. By miracles, I mean the everyday accomplishments of people who do things which seem impossible, far surpassing what others expect.

You too can do anything you want, as long as you have enough faith in yourself and work hard. Don't listen to anyone who tells you that you can't do something. And don't doubt yourself for a second.

Just imagine how much you'd achieve if you combined the power of faith, with belief in God.

You'd be unstoppable.
